Knowledge is light, but every light casts a shadow.

The more we understand the world, the more power we have to change it. And somewhere between ability and choice, temptation is born: to want more, to possess, to reshape the world according to our own will.

Perhaps knowledge is neither good nor evil.
It simply magnifies what we already carry within us.

And then the question is no longer how much we are capable of knowing, but how much of our own knowledge we are capable of bearing.
